Strides
Workout:
3 x 100 meters strides.
Rest: Walk back to the start between each repetition.
Effort: Gradually build from 60% to 90% effort during each stride.
Focus on smooth, controlled acceleration with proper running form.
5k Run
Workout:
Accumulate 5 kilometers using:
2 minutes of running followed by
1 minute of walking (repeat until the total distance is completed).
Note:
This run does not need to be at a 5k race pace.
Maintain a comfortable, cruise pace to focus on endurance.
Competition
